For a few years back in the late 90s, early 2000s, my wife use to get me the USPS Stamp Yearbook for Christmas. It was not get all the stamp and mounts for them, but I never liked how they cut the se-tenants. None of them were ever in proper Scott order number, which I guess should be somewhat expected. But some of the se-tenants that were multiple stamps for one image would come cut in a way that did not complete the image. The top half of the image would be on the bottom two stamps, and the bottom half of the image would be on top.
I like the idea of getting the book with all the descriptions and pictures, but I don't want to spend $95 to get stamps that are sub-par in their se-tenant positioning.
Does anyone buy these things? Has the quality of the stamps included gotten better?

I have not been that interested in having blocks, strips, etc. in Scott order especially for the reason you stated. You have to purchase a sheet to get the right layout.
I have seen complaints from purchases of the "mail use" packets stating the trimming of self-adhesives is not that good but have not seen first hand.
