Well, after a summer mostly away from forums I went back to my old favorite and found many of the much valued names were absent. A bit of digging shows that most of you are now here. Am I the only person in the world who does not know what happened? Any update that you can share would be appreciated. On the stamp front, my worldwide collection has just passed the 10,000 mark. Not very impressive I know compared to some folks but it was one objective I had on my return to this hobby. Now, on to the 100k objective! It becomes more and more fascinating. Cheers

All the three main boards serve collectors well Conker, You kinda hang out where you feel most relaxed and feel most interested. No one board fits all. Good luck with your next 90,000, hope the scanner endures

Welcome friend, I hope you enjoy your stay here. We need all the participation we can get as we have less than 100 members, so if you have any philatelic friends, please invite them to take a look. Post pics of those stamps you love the most! Theron.

I'll only say this about what happened- Most still frequent both forums and there were some ruffled feathers along the way After all, we are all stamp collectors as well as individuals and as such, we all hold different views and value systems. Some times that gets in the way. Let's not re ignite any flames or troubles. Be free Have fun Collect stamps! Lets move forward shall we?

Congrats- do you collect up to the present, or to a certain year? I focus on 1840-1940 WW, but am accumulating passively the 1940-1955 era- can't resist.
