two pages from Belgium. some of the stamps were removed before I got this album but the ones that are there are interesting too very nice cancels.   |

Hello, Anil ( anilkhemlani), and thanks for your posts. I have bought old albums like this in the past myself, and I know how much I have enjoyed them, so thank you for sharing the experience with us. I just wanted to mention that in your first post in this thread, you show stamps of British Honduras mounted on standard notebook paper. These stamps should be separated from this paper at your earliest convenience. Standard notebook paper is not acid-free, and it will generally discolor and damage the stamps which are in contact with it over time. On the other hand, stamp album pages are normally acid-free, so there should be no problem with those. Anyway, I just thought you would like to know. I look forward to your further posts in this thread. |

Two or three would have been sufficient, but this quantity is ridiculous. And judging by your private message to me demanding (a request would include the word “please” thus it was a demand) that I just give you particular countries for “study”, you are not a beginner. |

I'm inclined to agree that multiple separate postings of mostly very common stamps, without additional information to add interest, seems to have only one purpose, and this is a shame.

Terri, in fairness to Anil, he announced his intention, in his very first post, that he would post pictures from his recent acquisitions. Members should not criticise the quality of a member's collection, that is also a forum regulation. You offered stamps and he made a request, it is unfortunate if this request was not worded politely. Let's not discourage new, or in Anil's case, returning collectors. Just my opinion. Daniel |

Daniel Daniel, you’re right that we do have that regulation. But my criticism was not about the quality of the collection, but the QUANTITY of the posts. Can you imagine what the forum would look like if other members started posting pics of EVERY PAGE of an album purchase? |
