Some countries also issued decal-type window labels. They were given for larger donations. These are from France and measure 4 5/8 X 3 1/8 inches.

In Germany, in addition to the regular seals issued each year, there were also souvenir sheets produced depicting the year's seal images. This one is from the 1968 series.

Bas: I don't know a lot, but off the top of my head, what I can say is that it's Japan, for sure, and that I believe it's the 50th year commemoration of something (the organization?).

I need some help with this one.....................unidentified 1989 As Dave Identified, Japan Nice one! have not seen the 1989 example before. Usually issued in panes of 4 or 6, perforated, earlier times rather roughly Up until 1958, the TB panes or Minisheets had "NIPPON" emblazoned, then for some reason dropped altogether. With Japanese TB seals, the cross of Lorraine (iconography=crusade against tuberculosis) is unusual as the horizontal bars are not graded, they are both the same length

We've only seen one seal from Sweden so far - these three were found in last night's sort through a random worldwide mixture. Two old classics, one more modern. Ryan

I have some in a box somewhere, crikey, I was looking through my stuff recently, I'll never get through it in my lifetime. I have to stop buying.

What's up with the Fly-Tox Insecticide tab? Hi Zuzu, just a selvedge revenue raiser for the TB society. Common in some european countries around in the 40's, Italy had selvedge or even attached tab, advertising etc. Great Britain also I think, especially in booklet format. Apart from the insecticide, I think they marketed those old fashioned pump action fly spray contraptions. The curiosity is flies in france? I couldn't imagine they would be a pest in a cold country. Booklet with other advertising on the selvedge,

Here are a couple of TB seals from South America. I see the LAC seals from Colombia every now and then, but Peruvian seals are something I don't see nearly as often. Ryan

My updated French TB collection. Some shown before. Note the variation on the two 1938 labels, second row right. Bottom three right have no dates. I'm now thinking the 1948 bird cage (third row left) might actually be Swiss, or maybe Italian.

I'm now thinking the 1948 bird cage (third row left) might actually be Swiss, or maybe Italian. Yes, Swiss - Geneva is in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. The canton of Geneva is located in a little tiny spur in the extreme SW of Switzerland, surrounded on three sides by France. The canton has 107.5 km of border, and only 4.5 km is a border with the rest of Switzerland. Apropos of nothing, don't ever park your car along Lake Geneva on a windy winter day ... Ryan

Here are a few TB seals that I've come across recently. First, two from Venezuela. James already posted one from the 1974 Venezuela set, but this one has a different design. Sort of recent from Finland and sort of old from Sweden. Next, Panama & Philippines. Finally, a TB seal that is a bit unusual - this one is an Easter Seal, not a Christmas Seal. From Spain. Ryan

Philippines TB seals from 1982-3, 2007 and 2010. Nice Scans. I wonder if is a time to introduce Ebola seals, to help our families in Africa to combat this terrible virus?
