It's hard for me to accept that I remember buying these when they came out in 1975. These are not commonly found on cover and this registered cover to the USA properly uses them + a 1-c Centennial to make the correct 50-cent registered first class letter, single weight franking:

After posting the previous Registered cover, I came across this 15c B6 single on airmail cover to Finland and struck a deal.

JeffS, if only to show that I'm paying attention, it looks to me that the postage element of the first cover adds up to 60 cents π

JeffS , if only to show that I'm paying attention, it looks to me that the postage element of the first cover adds up to 60 cents π You are correct. I canβt count! Looks like my memory is fading and my research is faulty. The postage on this works out to 10 cents airmail first oz and 50 cents registration fee. Thank you for letting me know.
