Hi, does anyone here know if there is any difference between India revenue stamps with "Bombay Province" overprinted and the ones without? As in if I collect them would I need both or just one of them? Examples below.

guyana1230........the difference between these 1937 Key type issues is that one is National for use over all of India, and the overprints are for use in those States/Provinces. Quote from Barefoot Catalogue: "The main provinces of British India sometimes overprinted national issues to limit it's use to within the province, as a revenue protection measure.". The catalogue does not give these separate numbers or values so it's up to you what you decide. I would personally want both !! Londonbus1
