Hello, and thank you for welcoming to his site. My interests in collecting stamps started when i saw my uncles stamp book way back in the early 1970s. I collected in my early years but only specialized about 15 years ago.
I am mainly interested in classics, US SC #s 219-771, especially the W/Fs, also enjoy BoB, especially the Parcel Post Stamp that, for me, are some of the most beautiful; also enjoy collecting classic covers,
Canal Zone, Peru (for personal reasons) and some EFOs as well. At times, I will also get obsessed with a specific subset like the different types and colors of 2c American Bank Note Co issue of 1889-90 and the First Bureau Issue 1894-98.
This is what i am working on now as well! I am looking forward to always learning more about this great hobby and to interacting with my fellow collectors. Thanks again!

Yes to Parcel Post! I am working on the higher denominations for a both used and new set. I have a block of 4 of the 10 cent, a postcard with a 2 cent and foolishly passed up purchasing some parcel post franked letters.

Don’t know about stamps, but postal rates related to parcel shipment are something articulated and not always easy to understand, at least in Italy…
