The most successful fundraiser auctions are those that offer material that several members want and need for their collections. What would you be most likely to bid on in a fundraiser auction? I have bunches of stuff that I might offer in a 50/50 auction, but I’m wondering which our members would prefer. The auctions are much more fun with more participation, too. Please kindly list several suggestions - the more the better. I’ll start with a few ideas that I’d probably bid on; - newer used USA especially commemoratives - Finland before 1930 - USA precancels - Venezuela - interesting old covers Ok - your turn. You never know - someone might have boatloads of what you need! And if someone mentioned something that sounds good to you, add it to your list too. The more requests for certain areas, the more incentive for donors to list those items. Squeaky wheel gets the grease, eh? LoL! And don’t worry - just because you make a suggestion doesn’t mean that anyone will expect you to bid. After all the lot might not appeal to you. Thanks for participating!

I'd bid on anything I collect! Particularly older stock from African countries, if not too common.

As a worldwide collector I am open to whatever people offer. Having said that, I am a bit systematic about my collection, working to raise the percentage of stamps I have in certain countries. Overall, I'm open to participating as a buyer.

Great idea for a topic, philatelia! I’m always interested in checking out an auction with interesting/unusual FDCs. Or stamps from any of my topical interests (modern art, literature, baseball, space etc etc).
