Thought some of you might find this interesting; Here’s a coil strip from a recent auction purchase. See that joining section - or what I assume is some sort of joint in the paper roll? The misperf begins after the join. I haven’t received the lot yet - this is the pic from the auction. Opinions?

Thanks, JeffS. You got me wondering what’s the difference between paste ups and splices? I did a bit of reading and if I understand correctly, a splice and a paste up are very similar, but a paste up is a join with paste or tape and a splice is paper joined together with a more advanced technology? Still reading…
