Four margin copy with a Maltese Cross cancellation and right-side selvage. Fairly uniform light bluing, note the demarcation from blued paper to the lighter colored selvage. Slight Basal Shift on south edge.
Plate 38 was put to press and registered on July 26th 1843, withdrawn from press on January 22th 1844 and destroyed on June 25th 1844.
