I love looking through old postcard for the different stamps and especially coils. Here is a beauty in my collection

for the U.K. that's certainly true - I sometimes think that old post cards are a very much under-valued source of stamp material, though of course you can have a surfeit of Ed. VII and G. V ha'penny stamps;-)
