Hello all.
Hope you're all doing well. I'm Alan from Dunedin, New Zealand.
I've recently received my Mother's stamp collection, which she has passed down to me. I'm very new to stamp collecting, but I'm keen to learn more about this fascinating world of stamps.
I look forward to sharing some images of the stamps that I've received.
Take care.
Alan

A belated welcome to TSF, Alan ( sewal977).... it's good to have you with us! I am impressed already by your facility as a new member with making posts that include images. Well done to you! We have long-standing members who still struggle to include images in their posts, so you are off to a good start. I am also impressed by the collection you received from your mother. Definitely some nice items in there, and it's great that you are interested in keeping it going rather than just getting rid of it. Collections passed on to us by parents or other family members is arguably the most common way that new collectors are made. It was certainly part of my experience. Enjoy your time with us, Alan! -Chris Back in Southern California after 5 years in Europe

Haha thanks. I'll try to share more images as I grow my collection. I definitely feel very lucky to have received such a nice collection to help start my stamp collecting journey. I appreciate your kind words . Alan
