I'm just going through all my Double Heads and spotted this oddity, the shifts are both from Sheet format Dop U, screened value DGA 200.1.1 not confirmed normal or low oba yet. I've put in a normal comparison which is from a booklet as well.
Top image normal Middle image high shift discolouration of Queens cheek and darker oil slick above Victoria's head Bottom image cream dropped so far is has come out of the lower stamp frame, oil slick below Queens bust, it was this I spotted and thought the stamp was initially stained and was going to throw in the use for postage box. Has anyone else noticed these shifts in your Double Heads 20p? Ps sorry but I don't have a computer or scanner to scan better images.

Hi Wittybebop I have a few of these with similar shifts on them. 2 full panes from The London Life PSB which show a downward shift of Victoria's head only (about 3mm) on all stamps & a pane of 6 with the same (about 5mm) on whiter paper. The shift leaves a dark outline around the image of Victoria.

These are major shifts but being a fairly subtle shade you did well to spot them . On any other issue such a dramatic shift would probably not get past quality control check .

Good catch! Rather dramatic shifts, too. Very nicely done, Wittybebop. It’s so much fun to spot these anomalies - bet that put a smile on your face.
