Here's a 1931 cover from a German dealer advertising new issues.....posted with Andorran stamps. Specifically French definitives with overprints for use in Andorra. The cover is being offered online but I'm afraid the bidding is quite fierce; my bid will likely be outbid by a mile. I will post the selling price shortly!

My maximum bid was $78, just under half of what the winning bid was for!

At that price, it was still a bargain!
I note as well that this thread is very bare, and, since I have a quasi-complete French Andorra collection, maybe I can help... I'll put it on my to-post list!

There are 7 periods one can easily identify for the stamps of French Andorra. They are: 1. The first issues, in 1931, using French stamps with an "Andorre" overprint. The cover above is a fine example. I add below the other stamps I have of that period, mostly postage due issues. 2. From 1932 to 1943, the stamps carry the country name as "Vallées d'Andorre". 3. From 1944 to 1974, the stamps are labelled "Andorre". 4. In 1975-77, a bilingual label "Andorre Andorra" is used. 5. In 1978, they switch to the Catalan "Principat d'Andorra". 6. In 2000 and 2001, this is the transition period from the French Franc to the Euro, so the stamps carry denominations in both currencies. 7. Starting in 2002, the currency is exclusively the Euro.

Three examples of postage due stamps from "Vallées d'Andorre". The French designs continue to be used, but now with the country name fully incorporated in the top and bottom cartouches.

The postage due of the late 1950's and early 1960's. As in France, Andorra had a currency conversion to the new Franc (1 New Franc = 100 old Francs) on 1 January 1960. So the 1960s issues have the smaller nominal values and the format x,xx.

some beautiful issues, hrdoktorx, thank you for sharing!
Andorra is not too far from Barcelona (on my bucket list to visit one day) and also not too far from Aix-en-Provence, where I hope to return soon to see Beryllium Guy and the Saturday market where we have our stamp-dealer friend! I wonder if there are ever any stamp shows in Andorra....?!?

Series of stamps, issued in 1963-64, showing historical scenes from Andorra. The design matches a similar series from France.

hrdoktorx,
Thanks for your info and posting of such great images of the stamps. I have been working on my Andorra collection. I am ready to put in album this winter. I had noticed the changes you mentioned. I never really looked into what year they happened. This will help me when trying to identify any new stamps I get.
