I found these in that little Israel lot I posted about yesterday which contained two distinct colors of blue for this Scott No. 94 stamp. The bright blue is the issued stamp. This dark blue is not listed in Scott with this series; nor did I find such a color variety listed in Colnect. Can someone set me straight on this please? |

What I collect: Cinderellas and some Ephemera from Great Britain, France and Israel plus a few beautiful bits from elsewhere !! Topical interests include Flags & Judaica, the latter with an emphasis on the Jewish National Fund.

JeffS........I have never seen this stamp the colour of that top one. It looks like it was left under the sun of a shop window for a week or two. The bottom example is about the correct colour (on my screen).

Londonbus1 Thank you, that makes sense. I looked at a couple examples online and the ones I saw looked more like the light blue example. Also I took the catalog description of bright blue literally.
