Just been sorting out my stock of Palestine stamps and have found this. Anyone know what the overprint is please.

Hello Dave - I'm going to fail you on the ovpt. probably, though at first I thought it appeared to be simply the word Palestine in Arabic - the E.E.F. translates as Egyptian Expeditionary Force. The stamp looks to be SG 9 under the 1918 British Military Administration - the 5 m. yellow-orange. SG comment as to overprints (plate errors etc. " ......... malformed Arabic letters. Sorry this not really helpful - fingers crossed someone will have the answer for you.
Edited in view of the reply from cjoprey ......... my info. Dave came from the SG Middle East Catalogue, which means not a lot as I'm the least expert in Palestinian stamps. Just to add to the mix....... The initial British Military Administration stamps which were issued in 1918 and demonetized in May 1922, look to have been superseded by British Civil Administration stamps which in general carried the word Palestine in English, Arabic and Hebrew, in tier form. I mention this as yours isn't showing these three words, which was what led me to suggest this one might possibly have been prior to the 1920 Civil Admin. issues. Anyway, looks like you may now have the correct answer.
