Hello, my name is Steve and I live near Peterborough, UK. My collection involves anything to do with printing - printing presses, famous printers, state printing works, typography, stamp printing, books and newspapers etc. I was a printer from school until I retired last year. Now happily sorting (finally) my stamps into separate groups. I also collect Gutenberg ephemera, coins etc. printing press  famous printers  state printing works  books  |

stampsmurfWelcome to TSF BTW my late dad was a printer/owner of a pretty good size French Newspaper (Le Madawaska) in New Brunswick, Canada......passed on to my brother JP and sold later to the IRVING group !! I was raised in a printing shop LOL !! René

What I collect: (Mark) General worldwide collector (to 1975 or so) with a soft spot for Sweden and the rest of Scandinavia.

Welcome Steve! I have a brother-in-law who is a printer and near retirement. Perhaps I should suggest this vein of stamp collecting to him. It probably would be a lot easier on the body.
