My favorite things with stamps is off paper foreign mixture lots. I love to go through and find
items others have ignored like perfins, cinderellas, etc. Every now and then I find a real
gem...but it is a lot of fun going through a large mix with the chance of finding goodies.

I purchased a large off paper (5 pounds, give or take a couple ounces) mixture last week with this same thing in mind. Minimal US. Minimal CTO issues. Primarily used with some mint scattered throughout. I am considering starting a thread to document the journey, and also as a way to move a little beyond the solitary nature of my usual collecting activities.

Oh I used to LOVE going through those huge worldwide mixes - so much fun! That’s one thing I miss about the old days when I collected the whole world. Hey, Lionel. southafrica1- share some of your “finds” with us!
