On Thursday, October 12th, at 6:00 PM EST, (11 PM BST) The British Empire Study Group will present a Free Zoom program entitled:
"The Devil’s Mail" Part I with Stephen J Berlin, D.P.M.
This a very entertaining and appropriate topic for an October meeting. Dr. Berlin has assembled an extensive collection of mail and postal history items that have literally survived some of the world’s most Hellish events. From Floods, Blizzards, Famine, and other natural disasters to tragic accidents on the earth, in the air, and on the water and mail that survived acts of true evil. Dr. Berlin’s collection is so rare and so unique that we will have two independent presentations that still touch on only a fraction of his collection. Part one will cover natural disasters, war, politics, and very unusual interruptions including Ghosts the Devil and Terrorism.
I’ll be co-hosting the program along with Joan Harmer (of Harmers International).
Registration and additional program information can be found by selecting the following link: madmimi.com/s/8a94771
As always, our programs are recorded and available for FREE on YouTube (usually within 2 weeks following the broadcast).
It would be wonderful to see some of you there in person at the broadcast (say Hello). An open discussion will follow the presentation. Rob

Thanks for the reminder, Rob ( REL1948)! I had written off attending this week's session, as I had been planning to be on travel in Germany this week, but since my plans have changed, I have now registered for the session. Sounds interesting!
