Is there a program on a computer where you upload your stamp in order to find the perf variety, watermark, color and get the Scott catalog number. Old school using lighter fluid and watermark detector container, perforation and color gauges seems a tough way to go to get proper info.

Watermarks will likely be beond the limit to what AI image recognition can do since unless the watermark is visible to naked eye, it will not come through in an image to the degree to make a positive ID between two stamps whose only difference is a watermark

Your wish has been a long-held wish of many. The closet will be when Scott (Amos Publishing) puts out their long awaited online catalog. I doubt it will offer all the aspects you mentioned but at least it will be a step in the right direction. Keep in touch of the stamp news. Nick
