An Opinion on the Use of Plastic with Stamps

I am appalled at how much stamp dealers and suppliers used to use plastic mounts and protectors for stamps. Not only is it very difficult to open these small mounts but often the stamps get stained and damaged when in use for many, many years. When we need to clean up our environment it is a shame that so much junky plastic was used in our hobby. Hopefully that practice has stopped.
