There are varieties based on watermarks and country of origin. This one appears to be the Unitrade 1 that was first introduced in 1927. This one appears to have been purchased in Brampton, Ontario on March 20, 1937. It was never used at the other end so it has survived rather than being held by the post office. The date appears tampered with so possibly it had expired and the holder tried to change the dates. We will never know.
