the color has been checked a number of times, deep carmine red as I understand, clear rotary normally these are p 11*10 1/2 but after countless attempts, it is p 11 1/4, probably insignificant but would include it... upgraded hair thick line on the arabaque and slimmer ring lower left corner Or am I wrong ?

I'm no expert on USA stamps but perforation wise, in Canadian catalogues, they are rounded off to the closest perf value. Now, if you take a good perf gauge or a digital tool, you will more and likely come to a different perforation than the one called for in the catalogue by a few decimals. I'm no flyspecker but I do check perforation very closely on most stamps that goes through my hands. Perforation and fluorescent/phosphorescent tagging are my two "must check" for any aquisition!
