I am reposting here in hopes more see it.
Does anyone have a copy of Maury Ceres & Dallay later than the 2009 issue? I think there was one or maybe two more issues before Spink acquired the rights. This does not include any of the more recent Spink|Maury compilation. If so please PM me if you'd be willing to look up one thing ( and only one) I have the 2009 and there is what I think is probably a typo (that doesn't mean it was corrected, but it would helpful to know) if it was corrected in later issues, or if the dtae remains. Spink|Maurry has dropped the information completely..at
thank you in advance

It includes hundreds of changes, new varieties and discoveries, all beautifully presented, with unrivaled levels of detail for each stamp. The monographic studies are continued, each stamp presented on its own page for all known varieties.

René
I have that catalogue also. Quite a bit of information got dropped after Spink started printing (it is stilla nice catalogue, but contains less information)
The Maury, Ceres & Dallay included date of issue and withdrawl for the different stamps (including Type), and often with multiple color variants, the year the nuance appeared is listed. I have one such biyt of data that the year for the color variant preceeds the issuance buy a couple of years...so I'm thinking it is a typo, but would like to see if remained in later editions.
thank you for looking. Much appreciated.
Stan

stainlessb I have the Maury 2011 Timbres de France. And re Spink ownership, they have really simplified their France catalogue compared to the last of the Maury-owned volumes. And the fact that they STILL have not done new editions of the French Colonial catalogues is a tragedy. I have the whole set of Maury and I treat it very gently since I know replacing them will be well nigh impossible

djcmh Could you look at the color variants listed for the No. 102 , 5 centimes Sage Type III. If there is a year after each of the colors , could you tell me what there is. I believe the 2009 catalogue has a typo. Thank you so much! Stan
