I have some mounts (I think they are Showgard) that have become wavy. Has anyone else had this problem and were you able to flatten them out?

I hope someone can help, stamp mounts are expensive. I have never had that issue. If you just bought them I would try returning them.

Horrible, horrible things. They are recalcitrant. I tried unsuccessfully, thinking they would flatten out in the Album. I had to introduce them to the rubbish bin.
Caveat: Unsure of what brand these were, they came amongst a 5Kg lot, from Canada. I recall they seemed "thinner" than the usual mounts, and sort of "crispier" (not so malleable )

I have Showgards that have the same problem. I do not use them but did not throw them away either!. I do not recall if I purchased them or got second hand from my dad.

They were probably part of an auction lot purchase I made, but don't really recall. I'd hate to throw them away, maybe they'll be ok if I use them for smaller definitive type stamps.

I don’t use mounts, but I’ve seen mounts arranged on Manila stock sheets. Keeps them flat and organized.
