Maybe the USPO doesn't like me the mail now. I am finding it takes so long it takes weeks to go its destination. What is up? I buy stamps from HIP and it takes literally weeks to receive the stamps. I have one invoice that was over a month old finally show up. Today for some reason the stamp gods smiled on me, and I got 5 orders all in the same pile in my lockbox mailbox and all mailed and very different times. Seriously!!! I hope the USPO shapes up or we are going to need stamp dealers to open stores because the mail never comes. Not that sounds bad at all. I really miss the small stamp shop you could to and sit down and look for stamps. That was a place to relax talk to people read the latest Linn's. Huh!! I am sounding like a very old person.
I can remember growing up in New York and going to Gimbals and they had a stamp selling section. Macy's did to, and they were great. I have to admit I miss those days. Of course, I was really young when my Dad would take me down to Manhattan, I guess I was 8 or so. It was a lot of fun. I especially loved the subway ride. Those were the days.

I don't know why you're having problems, I receive almost all of my mail quickly. I just got a couple of stamps off eBay that I didn't expect for at least a week, but that got to me 2 days after being sent.

nick2302I think you should stop complaining and thank your lucky stars you live in a country with mail service. I have been unable to send or receive mail for almost 4 years and have to find innovative ways to acquire stamps.I am now using a mail forwarder in Florida and all internet purchases are sent to an address and then forwarded every 2 to 3 weeks to an office here in Guayaquil. They then tend to disappear for a few days and then finally I receive them.Registered mail is tracked so I can see when it is delivered in Miami but I have no way of checking regular mail. This is not a perfect system as I have no way to return items if they are not as described.Luckily, that has not happened yet. Another option I have tried is to have all mail sent to a family member in USA and items are sent every month by FEDEX or DHL.However, this is extremely expensive plus there are customs fees. After living in UK and USA and having been used to regular mail service, living here is a big change. Anglobob
