This is my intro post to the board. I live near Tampa Florida in the town of Lutz. My grandfather was a huge stamp (and coin) collector from whom I inherited a bit of the itch and a box of leftovers. I have tons of 1st day covers, sheets of plate blocks and commemoratives and a large group of Mourning Covers among other things. I look forward to sharing with all of you

Welcome to The Stamp Forum nimrod. I look forward to seeing your mourning covers. Where are they from, the US or Great Britain (or...)? Great Britain, March 13, 1847 Ironbridge to Manchester Mourning cover with a Broseley udc. SG8 plate 67 with R L corner letters. Now, in french Canada, mourning covers I have never seen (expression), so why not make me more intelligent ?? What is a "mourning cover" and I have not Google it (yet !!) René
