Hi Everyone, If you're ever in the Greater Toronto Area and would like to visit a lively stamp club (one which is actually growing in membership), why not come out one night as a visitor to a stamp meeting or come to one of our Auction Nights or one of our Stamp Bourses or at our booth at the spring National Stamp Shows? For location and contact info visit our website at www.NorthTorontoStampClub.ca

I actually attended your bourse a few weeks back. Quite enjoyed it, and got some nice pieces.

NTSC - North Toronto Stamp Club ( www.NorthTorontoStampClub.ca) holds three auctions (at the moment) per year. Members bring their lots and auction slips early for viewing. The public and members get to bid on the lots once an X has been marked on the slip, indicating someone's interested in the item. Session 1 starts and visitors and members listen to the club auctioneer, bidding on items. About half-way through the night, a brief intermission is held for more lot previewing before session 2 starts. In general: sales are conducted en masse at auction-end; member payouts follow after sales money is collected. Bring Cash, sorry no credit nor tabs. Visit www.NorthTorontoStampClub.ca for full details under Sales-Circuit. Here's the next live auction evening: 2015-Nov-12

Out of curiosity, what sort of items show up, generally speaking? And what material seems to sell the best?

We get a huge variety of stamps (GB, Commonwealth, mostly), souvenir sheets, partial sheets, postal history covers, FDCs, postcards, even filled stockbooks, Scott, Unitrade catalogs, stamp magazines and periodicals, some local posts and other cinderellas I've seen come through too. The odd non-stamp items are submitted too such as: coins, photos, autographs, ephemera, spoons, etc. We cram a lot of lots into the time alloted, totalling over $1000 some nights in sales for the members selling. Check us out in the local SNAP'd newspaper: northtoronto.snapd.com (use their search tool for "stamp" ) Come on over one night and watch the action! Maybe even buy a lot or two.

Our next bourse is: Saturday November 21, 2015
Hi Folks, If you're ever in the Greater Toronto Area (Ontario that is), and you're looking to add some philatelic value to your collection, why not check our calendar to see if we're having one of our ever-popular stamp bourses. We hold them, at the moment, 4 times a year, one per season. There's lots of free and Green-P parking. It's just a 5 minute walk up from the St Clair and Yonge St Subway station.
We pack the house with 22+ stamp vendors plus the club's got its own Members' Sale Table.
