Many thanks for your kind words, Chris ( cjoprey ), and thanks even more for your excellent contribution to our Newsletter! I find that I am enjoying the editorial process even more than I thought I would, which makes it a fun project for me to put each Newsletter together. In that regard, I would like to thank all those who volunteer their time and help with that process when they can: Rob ( REL1948 ), Steve ( tomiseksj ), and Jerry ( Jerry B ). And of course, I am so grateful to all the authors for their excellent contributions, which were a pleasure to review and lay out. We had three first-time contributors to the TSF Newsletter this time: Jerry B , Chris ( cjoprey ), and Joan ( cursus ), although it should be noted that Joan is an experienced philatelic author who has written articles for other publications. Returning authors included Linda , Stan ( stainlessb ), and Terri ( philatelia ), who have provided three more wonderful articles for everyone's reading pleasure. I suppose it was largely thanks to happenstance, but I am particularly pleased with the diversity of contributions we have this time around. It's just a very nice range/variety of articles, which I think make for especially interesting read if you take the sequential approach in going through the issue. Also, I added a small feature for upcoming philatelic events, partly in response to the APS judges' comments but also because it seemed like a reasonable idea. Please feel free to post comments on what you think of that feature and if it is worthwhile to keep it going. Anyway, thanks again to all who contributed to this quarter's issue of the Newsletter!

OK, I have decided it would be better to create a new thread in the TSF Newsletter Feedback board than to carry on in the APS AoD Polling thread. Please offer comments and suggestions on the last two issues here in this thread. Thanks!

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

On a Christmas visit with family but occasionally logging on and reading an article when time permits. I am impressed with what I have read to date. Congratulations to the editor(s) and contributors for an excellent Newsletter.

My compliments to authors and editors of the lastest TSF newsletter; well done!
Although I have only read the summary or conclusion of each article, my kudos to the author who choose to use the word - 'inexpensive' when referring to the stamps in their article rather than 'cheap'. I have always equated the latter with quality and the former with value or price; it is nice to see an author give due 'credit' to their material.
I look forward to delving into the article for a more in-depth read over the holidays...
Have fun and happy collecting :-)

I enjoyed a quiet afternoon with the newsletter and I'm blown away by the topics, the writing and the variety. Honestly, I am starting to think this polling business is unfair because all the articles are so good! This is such a great issue, from personal stories to detailed study of a single stamp issue. From history to current events to a vision of a potential future for the hobby as well. I loved it from cover to cover.
Well done everyone! It's such a privilege to have this newsletter to read. 🎉✨

Just giving this thread a bump, too, now that the latest issue of the Newsletter is available for your reading enjoyment. We have added a word puzzle for the first time (to my knowledge), and we have three first-time contributors in stamphinger, greaden, and daniel, as well as returning contributor cursus. Many thanks to all of you for these fine articles! It was a privilege to include them in the issue. Also, many thanks to REL1948 and tomiseksj for support with reviewing and editing the draft before final publication. In that regard, we still have a vacancy for another Assistant Editor, and I would love to have someone step up. The task only takes a few hours once a quarter, just reviewing the layout and articles before publication to suggest revisions. If anyone is interested, please PM me. Stay Newsletter stampy, all!
