Top of the morning to all whom participate....my name is Victor I go by MostWanteds, my Grandfather as well as my Godfather were each merchant Seamen out of the Bay area.Needless to say though each of them would bring home all of the latest tech. Gadgets and such, along with postage stamps. So they'd set around drinking beers and and once in a while their accumulated collections would be the highlight of that day so I'm told. My Godfathers collection got left to my Grandfathet. Then when he'd passed they were decided between three of his grand sons. With that said,my Father whom mostly collected coins and cards had acquired a short term taste for postage stamps ,so naturally I added a few of my own interests in the mix Every once in a while ,I'll break out these little specimens and cover the table.searching for the few that I need to buy myself a big brand new Chevy truck!!!......imagine that im still driving the family van! So in reality I've accepted that that's highly unlikely though I assume that there is certainly some type of value flowing through the right channels,so as with people in general, yes I've have a passion for what has the potential to put money in my pocket though I also appreciate such perfected craftsmanship and art, postage stamps are the perfect means of collecting world history for people that may not have the means of storing or housing a warehouse full of artistic pieces of history...I mean heck ,one can just open and close a book with 150 yrs of these pieces of paper that not only originated in every part of the world but might even had traveled all across the world from one hand to another then in mail patch strapped across a horse or even a pigeon....lol
