I have inherited my father's collection to make sure this is protected and interest (in this hobby) is passed down properly. I have been collecting for 4 decades now and enjoy the pastime, especially when I get to travel and visit other country collections.

Welcome. Looking at the picture seems maybe you collect USA. Tell us a bit more about what your collecting interests are.

I do have most countries represented in our (mine and fathers) collection and try to complete the countries that do not exist anymore. My latest foreign additions are (50 stamps) from Qatar a year before the World Cup. I have 4 albums from early Germany through WWII, Russia, all former eastern block countries before communism fell. I am starting to collect the crypto currency stamps, finally adding a Swiss crypto stamp to my collection.

Welcome to the Forum and nice stamp you posted by the way.. I'm kind of in the same situation, inherited stamps from 3 generations and a collector myself when I was younger. Now I'm combining all 3 collections into one to pass down (hopefully) to my grandson.
