Friends:
I am an attorney in DC pulled into philately by clients and their passions. The truth is that I enjoy it--the images that countries choose to represent them, to highlight for posterity, the people they honor, the sometimes-dissonance between the image presented by a stamp and the reality of the country. I am an art dealer on the side and I find something compelling about the artistry of the stamps. I look forward to learning on this forum (and maybe perhaps contributing as well).

It's "District of Columbia", legally-speaking.
