What do you use?
I know that there is Microsoft Publisher, for example, and I've been playing around with that lately.
I knocked something simple up on Apple's iPages, using the rulers on either side as a guideline to help resize the stamps accordingly before figuring out where they might go on the page.
What other alternatives are there, and what might be the easiest option to use to piece together something of a 16 page / one frame exhibit? Ideally for Apple Macbooks, but my work computer is Windows so I guess I could stick with that if I had to.

Take a look at Scribus. It is free open source and quite versatile, but there is a learning curve. It operates on all platforms

If you have a good long stretch of time available, take a look through our thread entitled Show your DIY album pages - it's extensive, over 1000 posts in the thread! There are lots of different ideas, both in simplicity of layout (some are basic, some are elaborate and remarkably well done) and in the software used to create the pages. You'll find a lot of users of the AlbumEasy package, and there's another thread specifically for that. The author of that program is a member of our forum so there's usually a quick answer available to any question that pops up. Ryan

Never having exhibited myself, I am not sure what facilities are needed for creating exhibition pages or how well suited AlbumEasy would be for this task.
That being said, if anyone has any feature requests that would be helpful for preparing exhibition pages, I would be keen to try and add them to AlbumEasy. Clive

Apple Pages is very easy to work with, and something I would recommend for your scenario. I created my Albania album using Apple Pages. Some example pages: I have since switched to Affinity Publisher, which is even better. I have posted various pages in the DIY thread linked above, if you want to see more of my work.
