Found an oddity in some early French stamps I acquired recently. Have been unable to locate anything similar. It's from France and it's a 20c EMPIRE FRANC black on orange imperforate featuring Napolean III. It could just be a random photocopy as you can see a perforation line printed along the outside edge while apparently being an imperforate issue?... I think what you have is a cut-out from pre-printed post-card stationary, but I cannot help more than that.

Image in case the link dies in the future. PS: I have come across similar, as headings in older stamp album pages, as examples of stamps to adhere. Never in Orange though.
