Greetings to all the forum members.
My name is Aram Ovalle I am Colombian, since I was a child I started collecting stamps because it was an inheritance from my grandmother, but there was an incident when I was a child is that a relative in an act of anger destroyed all my collection that included prefilatelia of Colombia and some departmental stamps, Many stamps of Venezuela from the 1800's were totally burned, being a child at that age one does not understand anything and after a while, when I was more of a teenager and I started working at the age of 14, I started buying stamps again.
I collect many stamps from my country, I have tried to remember the stamps I lost in the above mentioned incident but it was very difficult because many of them are no longer available commercially or cost too much money, I also collect stamps like the so called Cinderellas,Tax stamps,Church stamps,Red Cross stamps and some not so commercial,Nazi era stamps,Land Transport stamps and some Scadta stamps and some new in the digital era like the Crypto stamps.
Best wishes to all

to TSF! What a horrible thing than to have a collection burned like that. And great courage to pick it up again.

Un muy cordial saludo desde los PaĆses Bajos. That must have felt like a big loss. At that age anything that gives you joy is worth more than a lorry-load of diamonds. I shall never understand how some peole can deny a child his happiness.

Welcome! You could create maxicards, like I created this coffee maxicard with a Colombian friend.
