Hi all,
Until very recently I had not owned a Stamp Album in over half a century.
I always maintained an interest in stamps and whilst in business all stamps were collected and donated to charity, apart from those depicting my interest in Birds, Steam Locomotives and Bridges, which I kept.
I recently inherited a set of 24 off, KG.V. 1d red, MNH in 4 blocks. My Granddaughter then gave me an impressive set of RM, Steam Locomotive Presentation Packs, which got me to thinking, my collection needs sorting or it will just be binned when I pass. The bug was awakened!
So, here I am in my seventies with Album, Stock Book and amazing Hawid Mounts, (what a difference to those hinges and corners), re-acquiring those Wilding issues of my youth and the earlier 20th century definitive issues of the UK.
