Bangkok stamp market or area

I have a colleague in Bangkok, (Stamp collector)
I'll email him now, and post back, if he is in town.

There was one in Central Bangkok, when I was living there
but was some time ago.

Most central Post Offices have all the moderns for sale.

Hello Rod,

so good to hear from you. All is well also over here,

On every Saturday at 10AM there are a few stamp dealers at the GPO at Charoenkrung road.
I believe they are nowadays behind the post office, not in front of it.
The Saturday stamp market is nearly dead from some 20 dealers some 15 years ago when I went last, to 4 dealers nowadays.

There are several stamp shops just some 50 meters the GPO.
Best is your friend ask at the stamp market, because I do not know which shop still survives.

Good Luck,  get a "tuk tuk"  to the GPO at Charoenkrung road.   (get a price first)
Take a bag, pencil and paper, and haggle
Take some photos for us too !  

I miss Bangkok, but not the humidity  

PS: You can also take a motorbike taxi, cheaper, get price first,  but hang on to your hat, they are scary.
