OK, why would a Censor NOT open and examine a Cover? Could it be because the cover was sent to a non-aligned nation during a world war? Just wondering. This cover was posted in a different forum, and we took more time discussing Lady Gowrie on the back then we did on the cover or contents. There is a letter inside, and a few newspaper clippings, but nothing much of interest. The cover was mailed from Mungallala, Queensland on March 31, 1941. Please post your comments and any other NOT Opened covers that you may have.

Maybe because it was going to Binghamton, NY? It was the hometown and inspiration for Rod Serling's Twilight Zone, and also my home for a long time.

The house Seriing grew up in was around the corner from mine, and the merry go round was just down the street. The bus station was the one I used to leave town.
