I don't know if my initial introduction and "hello" ever got posted in the correct location because I can't find it in the "New member introductions" thread, so I'm putting my September 4 message from a thread titled "hello" here again. Maybe I have it right this time. Maybe not. No need to respond to this.
"Hello. I joined the Forum over a month ago but, due to heavy serotinal (today's word of the day) demands, I've not yet participated in any discussions (except the one about album vs. stock sheets). I did choose an avatar stamp, the Saar 25M with a view of Burbach steelworks -- a stunning stamp and my current favorite. If anyone has insights about this stamp, or the other Saars that bear a similar design, I'd appreciate knowing about them. As a collector, I'm an opportunist, amassing anything that is readily available. It probably comes as no surprise, then, that my current interest is classical stamps of all sorts. I look forward to contributing often.
