Good morning. With a group of philatelists we are studying and cataloging the cinderella stamps issued in Argentina. We are currently in a data collection period.
The problem that arose is about the Jewish National Fund in Argentina, since they issued many stamps but we do not have a catalog to consult.
The request was if someone could send me images of a catalog of JNF stamps (Rochlin, Hadel, etc.) that contain those issued in Argentina.
Greetings and sorry in advance for such a big request.

What I collect: Cinderellas and some Ephemera from Great Britain, France and Israel plus a few beautiful bits from elsewhere !! Topical interests include Flags & Judaica, the latter with an emphasis on the Jewish National Fund.

There are not that many issues from Argentina, just a long series in different colours and a few expensive types before. The problem with images in the catalogue (Rochlin) is that they are small and cannot be scanned so looking for actual stamps is better. I can send you images of the few items I have but adding to the collection is almost impossible as prices are very high and the stamps rarely seen. The first two issues have never been seen by this writer !!

As far as we know there are six series: (1946) - Funds for the purchase of land - 10C. (1948?) - Warsaw Uprising Commemorative - Without value. (1949) - Zionist personalities (¿10 different personalities?) - Roulettes - In 15 Colors. (1953) - The same series of Personalities - Perforated - The same 15 colors. (1954?) - The Personalities issue but overprinted with new values: Eliezer Ben Yehuda (5 and 10) - Henrietta Szold (15 and 20)

I have an old JNF Catalogue by Jay Kaplove published in 1973. This includes a 5 page section on Argentina which lists 12 series.
1934 Bialik 1934 Ariosoroff 1936 Sokolow 1936 Herzl 1938 Schapira
1941 Ussishkin 1942 Ben Yehuda
1942 Wailing Wall 1945 Gordon 1946 Warsaw Ghetto 1952 Weizmann 1955 Szold
It would seem that the catalogue is not complete as it does not include the stamp you list as "(1946) - Funds for the purchase of land - 10C." Nor does it include the overprinted value that you illustrate.
Unfortunately, the binding is very stiff which makes it hard to scan without damaging the binding, but I will try and see if I can get reasonable quality images with my mobile phone when I have more time. Clive

alexsander.......I can only do the same as clivel and will send any decent photos to your email. Between the two catalogues, you will have something to go on. Please post some of your Argentina Cinderellas in the Cinderella section of the forum. Thank you and good luck. Londonbus1
