Hey all,
After a year of sorting my USA stamps and labeling them, and ready for placing them into the Albums. I have some stamps from different countries I would like to make pages for, and or find a blank album (Not scott) to place them into. I was given a mess of pages which looked like they were torrn out of Scott blue world book and another i have no idea.
Here in lies my issue, below is a list of the loose country stamps, now pretty much grouped into different envelopes. there are a few I have no idea where, or what countrys are ( the top list ) is what they belong to,
The bottom ones I can pretty much figure out. been looking through the 5,000 pages of countries, also some places that are not even around anymore. so if anyone can guide me where to place them, and maybe offer a good album, or a way for me to try to save those Scott pages back into a book again, I am all ears, so here we go.....

I use Steiner pages available at www.stampalbums.com/. You can purchase a disk with just about every country on it and he has a variety of blank pages that are free. You can also search the web for particular country album pages, there are many out there that are free.

manama = now part of the United Arab Emirates
corkeo del paraguay=Paraguay (Correo=postage)

greaden,
Thanks for that, and the laff at the end too.. that takes care of 7 of them. and it is a great help.
When I was stationed in Germany in the late 70's, I had a chance to travel between countries, (West Only) because Germany was still split in 2, so Italy, France, Greece, England, ect. were all open to travel too. (was a MP, so travel was easy to do) needless to say, stopping at their post offices was a main thing. and some older swap stores, (aka good will stores american style) LOL
Why I even seen stamps with that goose steping moron, I picked them up, why I dont know. besides they were a penny or so for over 500 stamps. besides that jackass, there were some really old german stamps, so worth it. Thankfully I have a printer that is large format, so making pages I need for my liberty album is a easy thing now. trying to do the same for the other countries. (same paper format)
So again, thanks for the help greaden, and Mr.H too for the link. anything helps worldwide. and my Google searching sucks. I hit about 15 to 20% of the time when I look for things.

However, unlike the Steiner pages, they have been created by many different people so do not necessarily have a uniform theme, and you may not find all the albums you required.

Here is a guide to identifier stamps on ISWSC website. iswsc.org/iswsc_identifier.htmlWhen I do not have many stamps for a specific country, I just store them on Lighthouse Vario pages. They will remain like this until I decide to do more. Vario pages are an investment since they can be reused many times. Or using the source album....You can get more creative for page headers.

I have 2 different programs, StampPageCreator, and AlbumEasy 4.5.0, both have helped in getting ready to make all non USA pages, my USA Albums are all Liberty Albums, and up to date pages and supppliment wise. As far as all other (aka world) stamps, at the moment they are in glassine envelopes, and on pages from a scott book album that someone tore apart (basically they ripped the cover off and tried to make holes, for a 3 ring binder, and another world book that was done in the same way. a basic mess for me.
Those ripped apart pages are loaded with stamps, the scott book was about 70% filled with stamps, not to mention on those blank pages in the back of the (now just pages) , so sorting out and trying to figure out how to make said pages, esp for those countries that have to be hand made, cause there are no real country pages that can be downloaded. so StampPageCreator program on the pc will have to be the way. and recreated from the actual pages that were ripped apart.

ohiohawk , for $50 you can get premade, no frills country pages, either downloadable for one year or on a CD, at Bill Steiner's Stamp Albums Web ( www.stampalbums.com/).
