I'm not sure if this is the proper way to introduce myself, but it's the only way I've found. I began my philatelic journey 70 years ago by salvaging purple 3-cent Jeffereson presidentials from my dad's trash can and Sotch-taping them into a spiral notebook. Sadly, I've lost that collection. As I traveled the world—alphabetically, albeit not chronologically—from Afghanistan through Zimbabwe, I've tried to pickup philatelic souvenirs. I prefer well-centered, postally-used, clean-canceled stamps.
