Hi all. My name is Adam, just joined today.
Purpose for joining this group is to learn more about a large stamp collection I have inherited when clearing my mother’s house.
I say large as it is to me. Guessing around 700-1,000 stamps. Ranging from 1890 to 1960. Mostly franked but all in books and good condition. Also later full unused ‘sheets’ of commemorative stamps of World Cup 66, Concorde and a few others. Older stamps are from all over the world during great/grandfathers army days with lots of Russian/former soviet countries, Germany and China.
Will look to navigate this site to see how best to use it, but any tips/hints will be greatly appreciated.
Looking forward to engaging with you all.
Many thanks
Adam

aboard Adam! This Forum is easy to search and navigate through. Just type a key word in the Help tab above to research a specific topic or go to the home page to find the Thread that interest you. There are also many free web tools like the web site Colnect (https://colnect.com/en/stamps) where you can find a lot of info on a lot of stamps worldwide. In addition to all of the Auction House, you can also find good info on ebay, Delcampe and Hipstamp respective web sites. Happy collecting!
