Umm Al Quwain Post Office opened in mid-1964 and on June 29, 1964 , the Postal Administration released the first batch of the first DEFINITIVE set at the post office. the agent of the emirate was Finbar Kenny and the first release was printed in spain and to be precise with Heraclio Fournier , exactly like Ajman And Fujairah they where under Finbar Kenny Contract and all of their releases printed by Heraclio Fournier , once the contract was terminated in 1966 and 1967 stamps where printed by UK based Printing press Format Security printing , my question the attached image shows many releases for the title Emirate , and from the quality of the stamps and perforation its for Italian Security printing press and i don't know whish press if any can help me to identify this italian printing press , AA

I have waited 20 years or more for these images ! I have most of the Dante stamps, separated and as singletons. Now I can plate them If you can arrange full sheet images, I would be very appreciative. Sorry, unable to answer your query

Note: Your thread title may be misspelt? Umm Al Qiwain in most anglicised catalogues
Michel quotes these as 1972 releases, not 1973 (All these states issues were invalid by 1st April 1973)
The Divine Comedy Dante Alighieri
A 35 values 4 rials each B 35 values 4 rials each Block (souvenir sheet) 35 miniature sheets 4 rials each
Perforations printed on the stamp.
Some have white margins
Unlisted in the Minkus Trucial States Stamp Catalogue Last listing 1972 Munich Olympic winners
Finbar Kenny Lost the contract (Fujeira) June 1970
