I am not sure about the ID of the stamps, but the scene depicted looks to me like it resembles Hercules fighting the Hydra, which was a many-headed serpent. This is a part of a story from Greek mythology.

I don’t know if that’s correct or if it helps to ID the stamp, but that’s what it looks like to me.

Yes, I don't see much hello-ing going on here. The scene must be figurative rather than literal. Draud is threatens in Latvian. It might be something like Dominium is Threatened?

I got close, chose Serbia without success.

The currency? of "P" remains a curiosity ?  Maybe that is an "d"  for dinar ?

This has turned out to be a fascinating discussion. Thanks to millersville for starting it, and to vikingeck and franoise for your excellent contributions to the solution.

One of the reasons that all of this means something to me is because the SOKOLs are a part of my family heritage, and without their organization, it is fair bet that I wouldn't even exist today.  A brief explanation is that the families of my maternal grandparents both came from Slovakia.  They were born in the 1890s, when that region was part of Austria-Hungary.

My grandmother's family actually emigrated from Slovakia to the US in the 1880s-early 1890s, and she was born in the US.  On the other hand, my grandfather was born in Bratislava, and he emigrated to the US around 1914 to avoid being conscripted into the Austro-Hungarian Army at the start of WWI.

My grandparents met at a SOKOL picnic held on 4th July 1916 in the US (I had a large group photo from that event, which I later donated to a Slovak-American historical society in Ohio), and they were married in 1917.  My mother was born a few years later, and the rest, as they say, is history.

In my family, I was always told that the SOKOLs were a kind of social organization, but I can see now that they were much more than that.  Anyway, thanks again to all for some great detective work in revealing the identity of and message behind these stamps.
