What I collect: Canada, Birds, WW Definitives

Hello Everybody!
I am a fourth generation stamp collector from Northern Canada. I have been a collector since college, but fell out of the hobby for quite a few years with some burnout from the "gotta catch'em all mentality". Since my mom gifted her stamp collection to me, I have been going through them and reworking my own collection, and have fallen in love with the hobby all over again! This time around I am planning to stick with the stamps that keep my interest; primarily stamps of Canada, the British Royal Family, a thematic bird collection, and Worldwide definitives. I'm sure I will change my mind a few times as I meander through my current accumulation; it feels disingenuous to call it a collection at this point.

What I collect: (Mark) General worldwide collector (to 1975 or so) with a soft spot for Sweden and the rest of Scandinavia.

Welcome Kailey! How far 'north' are you? There's quite a few Canadians here, but I suspect we're all pretty close to the Trans Canada highway.  By your stamp avatar I'm guessing the Yukon. Are there many other collectors / clubs where you are? Best wishes from Victoria, BC PS +1 to the 'worldwide definitives' part of your collection. There's something about a page full of hard working definitive stamps, eh? |

What I collect: My focus is on Wild Mammals on maximum cards. Occasionally, I get or create maximum cards with other animals, or any other topic.
