Perforations in online stamps: Count the teeth!

Did you know that you can often determine the perforation variety of a given stamp by counting the number of teeth?
To illustrate, here is a page from the bilingual Swiss Zumstein catalog, which lists the number of "vertical dents" for the Helvetia listings as seen below (in French)
How I use this: Consider for example this E-Bay listing:
It offers a 30 ore Swedish official, with the title "Stamp Sweden Official 1874 30 or BREDBYN Post Mark Used (TS)" suggesting that this is Scott O9 from 1874.
However, if you count the vertical perforations you get 16, which is typical of the perf 13 series O12-O25. The 1910 cancel also strongly hints at that - this is likely a Scott O22 from 1881, catalog value $0.70 (not $37.50)
