Are QR codes permitted in a philatelic exhibit? If allowed, they could help me save some space on the page. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my question. I genuinely appreciate any insights or feedback you might share. tomiseksj

As description for every single stamp? I don’t think it’s forbidden, but I don’t know how it could be judged… While a QR code in the end of a page with subsidiary informations, maybe it could be a good idea In my opinion (but I’m not a judge) the page should contain just enough written text to be good understood by the people who are looking at it. The remaining could be condensed in a QR code linking to a separate source.

I would include it on an occasional page to see if it is acceptable to the judges.

You have spent hours and more researching your material, you have accumulated a lot of information so it is understandable that you want it recorded and shared, However, look at your exhibit overall. How long would it take for a viewer ( or a judge) to read everything? Remember the judge has several other exhibits to mark. There are only so many hours in a day , so pity him if he has to read every word!
Keep text in an exhibit to essential details ….a minimum! You can mention rarity, unusual postmarks , special details but no description of what is obvious to the eye is needed. Record it on QR if you like but only for your own reference,
Judges and 90% of the public will probably ignore it they simply do not have the time.
( When I prepare any text for an exhibit , I write it out, then I read , then I look at what is essential and remove any words which are repeated or unnecessary or can be said simpler. Pruning. I then re write the text simpler and often only half as many words as the first try.)

When I sent a draft exhibit to the American Association of Philatelic Exhibitors for comment and critique, I got back the suggestion to pare back most of my text and just about all of the footnotes, and use QR codes for the extraneous but relevant material. Along with the suggestion was the assurance that this is becoming a more common practice among exhibitors.
