I think I’m developing an interest in Channel Islands stamps. Isle of Man, Guernsey, Jersey. I’ve been looking at some images of stamps on stampworld.com, and there’s some beauties in there.
Is this a natural progression from collecting GB? Does anyone want to offer me any advice ? Is “Channel Islands” even the correct term (ignorant American here, willing to admit if I’m wrong)? I’m all ears!

Well, the Isle of Man is not in the English Channel but rather in the Irish Sea, so "Channel Islands" would not encompass it. I did collect Jersey, Guernsey, and Alderney for a few years, but eventually pulled away as they tend to have rather large productions that seem to aim at the collector's market exclusively and not necessarily always relatable to the islands themselves. I will still seek out topicals of interest, and Europa issues, but not much else, except for the German occupation era stamps.
