There seems to be several private companies issuing their own stamps in New Zealand. Here is a sheet from DX, New Zealand Document Exchange depicting a NASA Astronaut and MMU, Manned Manoeuvring Unit used in 1984. Shown front and back, they are self-adhesive. DX currently offer a range prepaid envelopes and basic stamps and they have their own post boxes. Date of issue unknown, possibly 1984?

daniel Hi, Here are some of my results of research into the 30 or so, "oddments" of "alternative post" Source now lost (Not seen "DX" before today)... see "document exchange" is quoted on the cover below. PS: "Classic Stamps" www dot classicstamps dot co dot nz put out a *.pdf of these alternatives, online in 2020, they may have a vastly updated one by now.
